Chem-Solv was incorporated in 1979 as a manufacturer's representative organization providing process equipment with emphasis on heat transfer, corrosion control and air pollution control. The primary markets were the chemical, food, power and pharmaceutical industry.

The Chem-Solv name is based upon the premise to solve chemical processing problems through engineered process equipment. Therefore the name Chem-Solv.

In 2002 Chem-Solv merged with Process Equipment Sales Corporation. Process Equipment Sales was a long-term rep organization located in the St. Louis area. This merger added Chemineer Mixers a fluid mixing line to Chem-Solv. The Process Equipment sales office in Kansas City was also merged at this time.

Chem-Solv’s main office is in St. Louis with a branch office in Kansas City. We cover the St. Louis territory with three outside sales people and two inside sales people. In Kansas City, we have one outside sales person with support from the two St. Louis inside sales people. We have one semi-retired salesperson who assists on a variety of projects.

Our Team

Paul Bakula is the founder of Chem-Solv and has over 40 years experience selling engineered products.  Paul grew up in St Louis and attended Rockhurst College.  In addition to running the company from the beginning, Paul has handled many key accounts throughout our entire territory.   Beginning in 2021, Paul has begun the process of transitioning his key accounts to the appropriate sales person with the intent of focusing solely on inside sales and support moving forward.

Paul Boedeker has been with Chem-Solv since 2002 and has 30+ years experience selling engineered products.  Paul grew up in St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri, Rolla (currently Missouri S&T) graduating with an engineering degree. Andrew Neals has been with Chem-Solv since 2010 and has over 17 years of industrial sales experience selling engineered products.   Andy grew up in Milwaukee WI, attended Whitewater University and has been in St Louis since joining Chem-Solv.  Andy has territory that includes Central Illinois, Northeastern Missouri, and key accounts in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Contact Andrew at aneals@chem-solv.com

Will Heritage joined Chem-Solv in 2023. Prior to joining the team, he was with Philadelphia Mixing Solutions and SPX Flow as a Regional Sales Manager for 5 years. The first two years he spent at the factory (Palmyra, PA) as an applications engineer managing and designing mixers for projects all over the US and Central America. He then transferred to outside sales for the remaining three years, managing projects and designing mixers strictly in the Midwest. Will is from St. Peters, MO and attended the University of Kentucky Paducah Campus graduating with a mechanical engineering degree.  Located in St. Louis, he covers key accounts in southeastern Missouri, southern Illinois, western Kentucky, southern Indiana and key accounts in the St. Louis metropolitan area.Contact Will at wheritage@chem-solv.com

Tyler Forehand – Tyler joined Chem-Solv in 2020  from Alfa Laval where he managed the US aftermarket heat exchanger business.  Prior to Alfa Laval, Tyler worked at the Paul Mueller Company in Springfield, MO holding various positions from design engineer to product manager.  Tyler has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Missouri S&T and holds his Professional Engineer license since 2010.  Tyler operates/lives in the Springfield, MO area and covers all of Kansas & Western Missouri and key accounts in the Kansas City  metropolitan area. Ashley Zall joined Chem-Solv in January 2025. Prior to joining Chem-Solv she worked with Alfa Laval in a few roles. She began with Ashbrook Simon-Hartley in the waste water treatment aftermarket Inside sales team for 7 years. Ashley then moved over into the Alfa Laval product side in the Houston Service Center as the Service Order Coordinator. She would also get out in the shop and assemble GPHE’s in her down time.  After 3 years in that role she was offered the opportunity to work with rep network for Alfa Laval as Channel Support for Service until deciding to leave and join the Chem-Solv Inc.
